Disease ID:DOID:2154D009396
Disease Name:nephroblastomaWilms Tumor
Category:Disease OntologyMeSH
Type:Neoplasms
Define:A kidney cancer that affects the kidneys and typically located_in children.A malignant kidney tumor, caused by the uncontrolled multiplication of renal stem (blastemal), stromal (STROMAL CELLS), and epithelial (EPITHELIAL CELLS) elements. However, not all three are present in every case. Several genes or chromosomal areas have been associated with Wilms tumor which is usually found in childhood as a firm lump in a child's side or ABDOMEN.

Reference

[1] PubMed ID:35731049
Disease Name:Wilms Tumor
Sample: HFWT cells, nephroblastoma tissues
Dysfunction Pattern:Interaction(miR-675/TGFBI axis)
Validated Method:CCK8//qRT-PCR//Tunel//Western Blot
Description:The gene expression levels of lncRNA H19 and miR-675 were markedly downregulated in nephroblastoma tissues (p<0.05), while that of TGFBI was notably upregulated (p<0.05). It upregulated the expressions of miR-675 and Caspase-8 (p<0.05), and downregulated TGFBI (p<0.05). Besides, miR-675 was able to upregulate Caspase-8 (p<0.05) and downregulate TGFBI (p<0.05). In addition, the protein expression of Caspase-8 was downregulated (p<0.05), while that of TGFBI was upregulated (p<0.05) after the knockdown of miR-675 in HFWT cells.
Causality:Yes
Causal Description:LncRNA H19 could reduce the proliferative ability of HFWT cells (p<0.05) and stimulates apoptosis rate (p<0.05).
Clinical-realted Application:
