Disease ID:DOID:3908D002289
Disease Name:lung non-small cell carcinomaCarcinoma, Non-Small-Cell Lung
Category:Disease OntologyMeSH
Type:Neoplasms
Define:A lung carcinoma that is characterized as any type of epithelial lung cancer other than small cell lung carcinoma.A heterogeneous aggregate of at least three distinct histological types of lung cancer, including SQUAMOUS CELL CARCINOMA; ADENOCARCINOMA; and LARGE CELL CARCINOMA. They are dealt with collectively because of their shared treatment strategy.

Reference

[1] PubMed ID:32831924
Disease Name:Carcinoma, Non-Small-Cell Lung
Sample:NSCLC cell lines
Dysfunction Pattern:regulation[miR-326/WNT2B axis]
Validated Method:CCK8//qRT-PCR//Colony Formation Assay
Description:RPPH1 was significantly upregulated in NSCLC cell lines, compared with a normal lung epithelial cell line. In conclusion, RPPH1 promoted NSCLC progression and lung cancer cell resistance to CDDP through miR-326 and WNT2B.
Causality:Yes
Causal Description:Compared with the negative control, RPPH1 silencing significantly reduced the number of invading cells, increased E-cadherin expression and reduced vimentin protein expression.
Clinical-realted Application: Moreover, high RPPH1 expression was associated with poor overall survival and disease progression.
