Description: | Moreover, the oncogenic long non-coding RNA ZEB1-AS1 was highly expressed in BLCA and positively correlated with high tumor grade, high TNM stage, and reduced survival of patients with BLCA.Furthermore, we found TGF-β1 induced migration and invasion in BLCA by regulating the ZEB1-AS1/miR-200b/FSCN1 axis. |
Causality: | Yes |
Causal Description: | Moreover, ZEB1-AS1 downregulated the expression of miR-200b, promoted migration, invasion, and proliferation, and inhibited apoptosis in BLCA. |
Clinical-realted Application: | Moreover, the oncogenic long non-coding RNA ZEB1-AS1 was highly expressed in BLCA and positively correlated with high tumor grade, high TNM stage, and reduced survival of patients with BLCA. |

Description: | Reverse transcription quantitative polymerase chain reaction analysis showed that ZEB1‑AS1 was upregulated in BCa cells compared with normal epithelial cells. In conclusion, the data from the present study demonstrated that ZEB1‑AS1 induced BCa metastasis via an AUF1‑mediated translation activation of ZEB1 mRNA mechanism. |
Causality: | Yes |
Causal Description: | Functionally, knockdown of ZEB1‑AS1 suppressed BCa cell migration and invasion in vitro, and metastasis in vivo. |
