Reference

[1] PubMed ID:31364125
Disease Name:Laryngeal Neoplasms
Sample:laryngocarcinoma tissues and cell lines
Dysfunction Pattern:Interaction[targeting miR-29a-3p]
Validated Method:qRT-PCR
Description:NEAT1 was upregulated in laryngocarcinoma tissues and cell lines. Further experiments showed that miR-29a-3p was directly targeted by NEAT1, and participated in NEAT-mediated progression of laryngocarcinoma.
Causality:Yes
Causal Description:NEAT1 knockdown suppressed growth and invasive abilities in laryngocarcinoma cells, while overexpression of NEAT1 enhanced such abilities.

[2] PubMed ID:34837887
Disease Name:Laryngeal Neoplasms
Sample:laryngocarcinoma tissues and cells
Dysfunction Pattern:Interaction(miR-524-5p /HDAC1 axis )
Validated Method:In Vivo Experiment//Western Blot//ISH//CCK8//qRT-PCR//RIP//Luciferase Report Assay//Cell Apoptosis Assay//Transwell Assay
Description:Our study validated that NEAT1 expression was markedly upregulated in laryngocarcinoma tissues and cells.Taken together, knockdown of NEAT1 suppressed laryngocarcinoma cell growth and metastasis by miR-524-5p/HDAC1/PTEN/AKT signal pathway, which provided a potential therapeutic target for laryngocarcinoma.
Causality:Yes
Causal Description:Downregulation of NEAT1 dramatically suppressed cell proliferation and invasion through inhibiting miR-524-5p expression. Additionally, NEAT1 overexpression promoted cell growth and metastasis, while overexpression of miR-524-5p could reverse the effect.
Clinical-realted Application:
