Disease ID:DOID:1380D016889
Disease Name:endometrial cancerEndometrial Neoplasms
Category:Disease OntologyMeSH
Type:Neoplasms
Define:A uterine cancer that is located_in tissues lining the uterus.Tumors or cancer of ENDOMETRIUM, the mucous lining of the UTERUS. These neoplasms can be benign or malignant. Their classification and grading are based on the various cell types and the percent of undifferentiated cells.

Reference

[1] PubMed ID:30556848
Disease Name:Endometrial Neoplasms
Sample:EC tissues
Dysfunction Pattern:Expression[lower expressed]
Validated Method:qRT-PCR
Description:We observed that FER1L4 in EC tissues was significantly down-regulated compared with adjacent non-tumor tissues (p<0.01).
Causality:No
Causal Description:
Clinical-realted Application:Low expression of FER1L4 was significantly correlated with distant metastasis (p=0.002), lymph node metastasis (p=0.010) and FIGO stages (p=0.006). Furthermore, Kaplan-Meier survival curves showed that overall survival rate in patients with high FER1L4 expression level was markedly higher than those with low FER1L4 expression level (p=0.0071).
